Board of Directors Key Responsibilities
- Ensures that requirements stipulated in the Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws are addressed
and followed.
- Establishes policies and procedures as needed for situations not specifically addressed in the
Articles of Incorporation and the Bylaws.
- Interfaces with external neighboring entities such as
LaFarge (our gravel mining neighbor), Santa Ana Pueblo, Bureau of Land Management. This interface extends to other local
homeowner's associations to establish cooperative relationships and resolve problems.
- Conducts the annual homeowner's
meeting and determines the operating budget for the Association. Determines annual dues assessment and collects association
funds.
- Manages annual budget and directs and funds such work as is necessary and beneficial for the betterment of
the community.
- Produces and distributes an annual membership directory, periodic newsletters, and any other informational
publications that serve the needs of the membership; sponsors/hosts periodic events of benefit to the community.
