Welcome to Sundance Mesa! Our community is located in the beautiful rolling foothills west of
the Sandia Mountains between Albuquerque and Santa Fe, New Mexico. There are 201 building lots in Sundance Mesa with
over 180 homes already constructed. Lot sizes range from approximately one to three acres; virtually every lot has mountain
or mesa views. View our
street map to see the layout of Sundance Mesa.
Our community is bordered on the north by over 5,000 acres of public
land, ideal for walking or hiking. Santa Ana Pueblo lands also adjoin Sundance Mesa and we're bordered by other
community subdivisions to the east and south. The historic village of Placitas - originally a Spanish landgrant - is
east of Sundance Mesa and the Town of Bernalillo lies to the west across I25.
Visitors to our website can learn
more about our
Association and its volunteer
Board of Directors and
Architectural Control Committee as well as view information about the wildlife we share our homes with. We've even posted photos of some
of the natural beauty that surrounds us.
Placitas is home to many New Mexico artists and musicians, several of
whom live in Sundance Mesa.
Sundance Mesa receives its water from the
La Mesa Water Cooperative and is governed by a set of restrictive covenants.
